Striking out on your own is both exciting and exhilarating. Starting your own business is like giving birth. Your business is your baby. When starting your own business it is best to be conservative. Start small and grow steadily and surely. Start big and you have a big overhead. Try to keep a small business payroll.
A big payroll might equate to more months staying in business with a small business payroll. The crucial part of any business is the first two years. Survive that and more likely you’ll be set. You are more likely to survive with a low overhead. Pinching pennies should be your motto for the first two years.
